Indianapolis, IN - October 21, 2008
Rare Bird, Inc., an internet marketing firm, is celebrating its 10-year anniversary. The company started in Troy Chandler's converted garage in Indianapolis. Chandler started the company with Ben Rothe, CEO, and Jim Cota, president.
"We were truly a garage start-up," said Chandler. "We started with three desks and a few clients who trusted our individual expertise and were excited about our creative synergy."
Today, that list continues to grow both locally and nationally with acclaimed clients like Harvard Health, Gilchrist & Soames, Duke Realty, Fanimation, and Dynamic Resource Group. It is also evident that Rare Bird is a trusted leader in the industry, having gained the majority of clients through word of mouth and good faith referrals.
"Ten years is an impressive accomplishment for any company and certainly a milestone for us, " said Rothe. "We've had the great fortune to work with many incredible clients. And we owe a great deal to those partnerships and how they've contributed to our success."
"We're all excited about how far we've come, but our best days are ahead,' said Cota.
The founders believe their fresh creative thinking, mastery in web development, and marketing expertise have been the cornerstones to their success and growth. The company has gained notable recognition in the industry, and have been honored with several international WebAwards by the Web Marketing Association. Last year Rare Bird received top honors in the competitive shopping category and placed highly again this year.
The WebAwards are the premier Internet awards competition that judges web site development against an Internet standard of excellence and against peer sites within an industry.
