Saylor Lancaster

Digital Marketing Specialist

Saylor Lancaster’s secret talent is blacksmithing, which puts her in good company with the rest of the Flock’s left-field talents. But unlike the rest of us, she’s also classically trained on piano, with international competitions and two performances at Carnegie Hall under her belt.

Those wide-ranging abilities sit next to a marketing brain that’s just as comfortable with a spreadsheet and a dashboard. She finished a bachelor’s in agribusiness at Purdue in record time before sliding straight into a master’s in marketing. Along the way, she ran sponsored products campaigns with a 6x return on ad spend.

She also spent a year supplying Boilermaker fans with reels and live-game coverage through the men’s basketball team’s Instagram account (~200K followers), which means she can handle a deadline that doesn’t move.

Perhaps most surprising, however, is that she goes to bat for beef liver. “Put it in a smoothie. You won’t taste it, and you get all the nutrients,” she says. “Most people just haven’t had the right version yet.”

Given enough time, Saylor can probably find the right version of almost anything.
